Broken trolley carriage.
The customer tried opening his garage door and was alarmed to hear a metallic tearing sound. We arrived at his house and immediately began inspecting the system to locate the source of the noise. We quickly found the trolley carriage had been damaged and a part of it broke, effectively disconnecting the opener from the door. We replaced the damaged part and reconnected the door to the opener. Then we made sure no other part sustained any damage and that the safety sensors were working correctly to ensure the customer's safety.
